Brock Lesnar is near the tail end of his WWE career.

Ever since Oba Femi got promoted to the main roster, fans have wanted to see him lock horns with Brock Lesnar. Fans were finally excited to see The Ruler step up to Lesnar on the Road to WrestleMania 40.

Oba Femi and Brock Lesnar finally locked horns for the first time ever at WrestleMania 40. The former NXT Champion was able to defeat Lesnar without much effort. After the match, Lesnar removed his gloves and shoes and placed them in the ring, signalling the end of his career. However, he returned a few weeks later and brutally assaulted Oba Femi on RAW. These two men squared off again at Clash in Italy. This time, it was Lesnar who was victorious. Since then, Oba has even called Brock out for a rematch to settle the score once and for all. However, the Beast Incarnate has not responded.

Tommy Carlucci believes Brock Lesnar will put over Oba Femi before retiring

During a recent edition of Behind The Turnbuckle Studios’ The Last Word, Tommy Carlucci said that Brock Lesnar will put over Oba Femi in his retirement match in Minneapolis. He even said that the two men will hug it out in the ring and Lesnar will raise Oba’s hand. He also noted that Brock raising Oba’s arm could do wonders for the former NXT Champion’s career.

“Yeah, and he is, that’s why the big payoff has to happen in Minneapolis with him and Brock. I swear to God, he’s gonna win, and they’re gonna hug, and he’s gonna put his hands up, because I think Brock is, I think Brock is really gonna be done with that. And I don’t think he cares about his past history, how many titles he won, or how many matches he won in a row. He is a big fan of Oba, and just seeing Brock put his arm up and hug him, you know what that says? Because his personality is nothing like that. And it changes in an instant in Minneapolis, where you’re there, you started there, and then you’re gonna retire there, and here’s the next guy, who’s gonna be the next Brock Lesnar right then and there.”

Tommy Carlucci also said that if Oba Femi doesn’t beat Brock Lesnar, then WWE will undo all the progress they made with The Ruler. He also noted that there is no upside to Brock winning, whereas Oba’s momentum could be hurt if he loses. Tommy then went on to suggest that Oba Femi could face Roman Reigns at WrestleMania next year.

“That’s the end of the story right there, Mike. You know, there’s no other way you can end that story than that way, because you cannot bury Oba at one of the biggest, it’s probably one of the second biggest pay-per-view or third, depending on how you feel about Royal Rumble and SummerSlam pay-per-view or PLE, whatever the frig you’re calling it these days. And you can’t, you just k**l Oba. All this momentum you gave him, months and months and months, and then you end it in a negative way, because there’s no upside for Brock anymore. He’s older, I hate to say that, he’s older. Where are we gonna go with him? Oba could be a champ for a very long time, once Roman is done with it. And I think the next WrestleMania, I’ll tell you, man, a million people would like to see Oba and Roman have it out.”

It remains to be seen which way WWE will go with this Brock Lesnar and Oba Femi rivalry.
