Oba Femi Crushes “20-Year” Veteran’s Dreams On WWE RAW
The King of the Ring tournament finally has its first finalist following the end of WWE RAW tonight, as the first semi-final match of the tournament was scheduled for the show.
Earlier in the night, IYO SKY advanced to the finals of the Queen of the Ring tournament after she defeated Raquel Rodriguez in the semi-finals and punched her ticket to Night of Champions.
The Judgment Day had another chance to reach the final tonight as the AAA Mega Champion, “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio, faced Oba Femi in the main event of the show.
Many fans expected Brock Lesnar to show up tonight and cost Oba his match, but the Beast didn’t make an appearance. Instead, Oba put on an incredibly dominant performance against the “20-year veteran”.

Dominik ran away from Femi in the initial stages of the match and tried to stay away from the Ruler. This allowed JD McDonagh to attack him from behind, but it didn’t faze him. And Oba chased JD away.
As he turned his attention to Dom, JD came back and distracted Oba, allowing Mysterio to hit him with a low blow. He followed that up with a 619 to Oba’s gut with the ring hammer hidden in his boots. He followed it up with another 619, this time to the face.

Dom then went up the top rope and hit the Frog Splash for the win, but Femi kicked out at one. This enraged the Ruler, and he grabbed Dom as he tried to hit him with the hammer. JD came into the ring to help his partner, but Oba grabbed him, too.
He then hit a massive double chokeslam to both of them, before hitting a Spinebuster on Dominik. The Ruler then smashed him with the Fall from Grace and picked up the win to advance to the finals of WWE King of the Ring.
