The main event during WWE NXT tonight saw a major rivalry be settled in a brutal steel cage match as Tatum Paxley finally got rid of her former stable member, Izzi Dame.

Dame and Paxley had a falling out after the former cost latter in a NXT Women’s Championship in November, and were at each other’s throats since.

Izzi had even won the North American Championship during this time, but Paxley managed to get her defense by defeating her for the title at Vengeance Day, before defending the belt successfully in the steel cage match tonight.

Tatum Paxley has a new challenger on WWE NXT

With her win over Dame in Houston tonight, Paxley has seemingly ended her months long rivalry with The Culling member. However, she now has a new challenger to turn her attention towards.

Paxley celebrated her win at the top of the WWE NXT ramp, where she was attacked by Blake Monroe, who emerged from under the stage and engulfed the champion.

She emerged behind the champion and dragged her down into the same ditch she came out of before coming out herself and posing with the Women’s North American Championship, making her next move extremely clear.
