Full WWE SummerSlam 2026 Match Card Predicted

This year’s WWE SummerSlam premium live event could feature a star-studded lineup of blockbuster matchups.

SummerSlam is set to take place on Saturday, August 1, and Sunday, August 2, at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota, a little over a month after Night of Champions, which will be held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, this Saturday.

On a recent episode of his Notsam Wrestling podcast, WWE analyst Sam Roberts shared his Night of Champions predictions, explaining how they could shape the SummerSlam card.

The 42-year-old predicted that IYO SKY would defeat Liv Morgan to win the Queen of the Ring tournament before challenging her best friend and former tag team partner, WWE Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley, at SummerSlam. Roberts also suggested that Oba Femi would defeat Jey Uso to win the King of the Ring tournament before relinquishing his title opportunity to accept a challenge from Brock Lesnar at The Biggest Party of the Summer.

Sam Roberts Predicted Huge Matches For WWE SummerSlam

In addition to IYO SKY versus Rhea Ripley and Oba Femi versus Brock Lesnar, Sam Roberts predicted a betrayal within The Judgment Day that would lead to Liv Morgan facing Raquel Rodriguez at SummerSlam. The WWE analyst also proposed a Sami Zayn versus Cody Rhodes grudge match at the premium live event.

Roberts also suggested the SummerSlam card could also include CM Punk vs. Gunther and Jey Uso vs. LA Knight.

That’s what you’re putting in to a two-night stadium show at SummerSlam. Roman vs. Seth. Oba vs. Brock. Rhea vs. IYO. Liv vs. Raquel. Sami vs. Cody. And then either Gunther, and then look, I think it’s Gunther vs. Jey Uso at that point. It’s either Gunther vs. Jey or Jey vs. LA Knight.

But I think you could do Jimmy or Jacob vs. LA Knight. Probably Jimmy because you want LA Knight to get the victory. Well, I don’t know if you want LA Knight to get the victory. I don’t know if I want The Bloodline losing that match. But you can do Jey vs. Gunther. But you can do somebody else vs. Gunther as well and do Jey vs. LA Knight because that needs to be settled at SummerSlam as well.

But this version of Jey vs. Gunther, and Jey coming in cocky and Jey being like, ‘I’ve gotten you before,’ and maybe Gunther actually beating Jey this time. Or maybe you do Jey vs. LA Knight and Gunther vs. Punk. That’s probably what I would do. Jey vs. LA Knight, Gunther vs. Punk. That’s seven huge matches for SummerSlam.

Imagine that SummerSlam card coming off of these predictions for Night of Champions. Oba vs. Brock, IYO vs. Rhea, Roman vs. Seth, Liv vs. Raquel, Gunther vs. Punk, Cody vs. Sami, Jey Uso vs. LA Knight. [1:05:31 onwards]
