The finals of the WWE King of the Ring are set to take place at Night of Champions next week, with the winner earning a shot at the World Championship at SummerSlam 2026.

The tournament featured some major wrestlers like Finn Balor and Seth Rollins in the match, but neither of them proceeded to the next round. Ultimately, it was Dominik Mysterio, Oba Femi, Je’Vonn Evan, and Jey Uso in the semi-finals of the tournaments.

Oba defeated Dominik this past week on Monday Night RAW, before Je’Von and Jey battled it out together to advance to the finals of the tournament and punch a ticket to Saudi Arabia.

It was an evenly contested match early on, but the Young OG ultimately took control of the match as he dealt with most of the damage. Evans had been wrestling with injured ribs and came to the fight with a bandage around his ribs.

Uso hit a massive pop-up Samoan Drop on Evans to take control of the match. He targeted his ribs and, to fight back into the match, took control of the entire bout. Jey pushed Evans into the barricade, and he injured his ribs once again.

Je’Von Evans gave it his all on WWE SmackDown

The twin didn’t stop there and hit him with multiple suicide dives to take Evans completely out of the match. Evans retaliated by sending Jey over the barricade and then took a lap around the WWE ring.

He ran to pick up the pace and then hit a massive dive over the timekeeper’s arena onto Jey Uso. He then took things a step further by hitting a Spanish Fly to Joe from the top rope, rendering both unable to compete for a bit.

The Young OG then showed incredible resilience to deny Jey Uso. The former WWE World Heavyweight Champion superkicked her in the ribs and hit a Spear to get the win, but Evans kicked out at the last second.

The Young OG gave Uso a run for his money and didn’t stay down even after repeated attacks. He tried to mount one last comeback and was setting up the OG Cutter, but Jey stopped him from going to the top rope.

He took Evans out with a Spear and followed it up with a Uso Splash to get the win and set up a clash with Oba Femi at WWE Night of Champions. Jey then even shared a heartwarming moment with Evans following the match and acknowledged his fierce performance.
