WWE Has Plans For Bobby Lashley To Be Part Of WrestleMania 39

Bobby Lashley is a man without a match at WrestleMania 39 although WWE does plan to involve him in the show somehow.

With WrestleMania 39 set to take place on April 1st and April 2nd, time is running out to create new matches for the show. Bobby Lashley is one of WWE’s top stars on the Raw brand, yet he appears to be an odd man out at WrestleMania with just over one week to go until the show.

It has been reported that Lashley was going to wrestle Bray Wyatt at WrestleMania 39, but with Wyatt’s status in doubt due to an illness that has kept him off TV for multiple weeks, that match is in serious jeopardy at this point.

As for what that means for the former two-time WWE Champion Bobby Lashley, the WrestleVotes Twitter account told GiveMeSport that Lashley will have some role at the biggest WWE event of the year.

“A personal health issue on Bray Wyatt’s part is going to keep Bobby Lashley off the WrestleMania card. With that said, I know that there’s a backup plan… I do know that they’re gonna get Lashley on the card in some form.”

On Twitter, WrestleVotes noted that Lashley could be a part of a segment or match involving LA Knight, who currently doesn’t have a WrestleMania match either.

“Adding: WWE will find a way to get Lashley on the card. A match vs. LA Knight isn’t planned as of now, but has been discussed for over a week now.”

Considering that Lashley is heavily featured on Raw on a consistent basis, he absolutely deserves a spot at WrestleMania 39 and it sounds like WWE will do what they can to make him a part of the show.
