Heels Or Babyfaces? The Bella Twins Reveal Current WWE Status

The Bella Twins officially reunited on the February 2 episode of WWE Raw.

A couple of nights ago, Nikki and Brie Bella entered the Women’s Royal Rumble match at numbers 25 and 29, respectively.

While it was Nikki’s first appearance since December 29, Brie was last seen at the 2022 Royal Rumble. She entered that match in a special guest’s capacity as she had not competed since 2018.

Fans had hoped for the return of Brie Bella for the longest time, but insiders believe that her husband’s association with AEW had acted as a barrier.

During The Bella Twins’ appearance on Logan Paul’s IMPAULSIVE podcast, Brie revealed getting a call from WWE President Nick Khan, claiming that it came to her as a shock.

I’ve been wanting to come back. I would joke about it a lot, but yeah, I kept hearing no, and so when it came Thanksgiving time, I was like, ‘Alright, I’m not going back,’ and so, I kind of just started to look at 2026 differently.

I had a couple other opportunities that were put on the table, so I started to engage in those, and then Nick Khan all of a sudden called me, and I wasn’t expecting it, and just really wanted me back. I was very shocked, and I was like, ‘Alright….’ And I’m grateful to Nick for bringing me back because I definitely thought the door was closed, and I’m happy that it reopened.

The Bella Twins Divulge Their Babyface/Heel Status

The Bella Twins appearing together on Raw was confusing for many viewers because it left their status ambiguous.

Nikki Bella turned heel late last year when she attacked Stephanie Vaquer. Meanwhile, Brie is expected to be a babyface following her return.

On his podcast, Logan Paul asked them whether they were babyfaces or heels. The Bella Twins confirmed that they were heels, claiming they had tricks up their sleeves to power down opponents.
