SPOILER: Ex-AEW Star Finally Arrives To SmackDown, Attacks Ex-WWE Champion
A former AEW star finally made her SmackDown arrival following weeks of tease and attacked a former WWE Champion. The ex-AEW star in question is Blake Monroe (fka Mariah May).
Blake Monroe gained prominence after joining All Elite Wrestling in 2023 as ‘Mariah May.’ She went on to become one of the top female stars and also captured the AEW Women’s World Championship during her tenure. Following her departure from Tony Khan’s promotion last year, Monroe joined the WWE and continued her rise in NXT.
For the past several weeks, The Glamour has also been teasing her arrival on SmackDown with some amazing vignettes. Meanwhile, Blake Monroe has finally arrived on the blue brand.
During the taping of SmackDown for the upcoming June 26 episode, The Glamour showed up and attacked Guilia, after Guilia had defeated Kiana James in a singles encounter.

Former AEW star has top WWE SmackDown stars on her radar
The former AEW star, Blake Monroe (fka Mariah May) recently targeted the current WWE Women’s Champion, Rhea Ripley as well as Charlotte Flair from the SmackDown roster.
During one of her SmackDown arrival tease vignettes, Blake Monroe said the following about Rhea Ripley:
Dear diary, there are so many fascinating women in that SmackDown locker room. Take for example Rhea Ripley. Such presence, such brutality, such delicious misery wrapped in all that black leather. You are as captivating as can be, but while you spend all your time trying to strike fear into the hearts of others, I know you’re only hiding from your own. All that heartbreak and betrayal.”
In her other vignette, The Glamour set her sights on Charlotte Flair while also talking about her tag team partner, Alexa Bliss:
Dear diary, let’s talk about Charlotte Flair. Charlotte, I remember watching you as a part of the historic women’s evolution. You are truly one of the greats. And with Alexa Bliss by your side, well, you’re a match made in co-dependent heaven. I mean, what a farce, you’ve deluded yourself into thinking you are stronger together, and you’ve only turned soft, weak.”
Friends aren’t something I have ever burdened myself with, true stars shine brighter alone. And my beauty is blinding. Hold on tight to each other, girls, because the Glamour is coming to SmackDown. Yours truly, Blake Monroe.”
It remains to be seen what’s next for the former AEW star after her arrival on SmackDown.
