AEW Dynamite Beach Break aired live from The BayCare Sound in Clearwater, Florida, tonight, and the fans were treated to an amazing night of action. The promotion’s annual television special had some massive implications in the title picture.

In addition to two title matches on the show, the first of which resulted in a shocking title change, the episode also features a huge Casino Gauntlet match on the women’s side.

The winner of the match will receive a shot at Thekla’s Women’s World Championship. The title match would take place at the first-ever AEW Redemption later this month.

The match began with Athena and Maya World fighting it out with each other before Skye Blue came out with a Kendo Stick. She used the weapon to her advantage to gain an advantage in the early stages.

The three women were then joined by Mina Shirakawa, and another Japanese star, Rina, entered the match shortly thereafter. Skye Blue then got some backup as Julia Hart was next to enter and came with a trash can lid.

The duo slammed Rina onto the lid before using the steel chairs on the outside on all the competitors and security members. They even took out ring announcer Justin Roberts to get a steel chair.

Julia used the lid to wreak havoc on the outside while Skye dominated inside. However, her domination didn’t last long as Athena brought her back crashing down. Former AEW Women’s Champion, Thunder Rosa, was next to enter the match.

She attacked Skyle Blue immediately as she set the steel chair against her stomach and hit a huge running dropkick. Rosa attacked Maya World and looked to pin her, but was interrupted by Rina.

Both women then brawled with one another before Athena hit the O-Face on Rosa, but her pin was broken up by Mina Shirakawa. She went for another pin attempt on Mina this time, but it was broken up by most of the competitors.

The crowd went berserk as the next competitor entered the match, as it was revealed to be Willow Nightingale. The former TBS Champion was out with a seemingly long-term injury, but came back much earlier than anticipated.

She dominated the field and took everyone out before Skye Blue and Julia Hart worked together to take her down. As Maya World dealt with Skye Blue, Nightingale hit the Gutwrench Powerbomb to pin her and get the win.

A massive brawl broke out following the match, which saw Thekla take Nightingale out with a spear. However, the Divine Dominion then appeared on the ramp and hit a double slam on Blue and Hart on the ramp.

The 2026 AEW Owen Hart Cup winner, Mercedes Mone, appeared in the ring and took out both Thekla and Willow Nightingale with her Owen Hart Cup championship belt. The CEO will face one of these two women at All In for the World Title.
