Prayers For WWE Superstar Sheamus’ Speedy Recovery
WWE’s Sheamus recently suffered a nasty injury amid his hiatus from WWE TV.
Somewhere in May or June 2025, the 48-year-old star started having shoulder trouble. He took some shots to temporarily relieve his pain, but around the holiday season, his arm stopped moving completely. As a result, he had to be pulled from television.
His last match on TV was on the November 17 edition of Monday Night Raw, where he teamed with John Cena and Rey Mysterio against The Judgment Day (Dominik Mysterio, Finn Balor & JD McDonagh). It was also John Cena’s last match on Monday Night Raw.
Shortly after being removed from television, he had to undergo shoulder surgery at the Birmingham Surgery Center in Alabama on December 30, 2025, and he has been out of action and in rehab ever since.
Sheamus Suffers Gruesome Injury In The Gym
Sheamus has been working hard to get back in the ring, and therefore, he has been going to the gym to train and regain his physical strength. However, one of those gym sessions turned bad for him.
The Celtic Warrior recently took to his social media account to share a picture of himself suffering a nasty wound on his head and captioned the image “gym fail #fml,” relaying to fans that he suffered the injury inside the gym.
He later shared another post from the hospital where he was bloody and bandaged up with the caption reading, “boards DO hit back #gymfail”

The WWE Universe is eager to see Sheamus back in action. However, Fightful Select claims that there is still no timetable for his return.
Sheamus has been sidelined with a shoulder injury. Unfortunately, he required surgery and has been sidelined since mid- November. I’m not sure on the timetable for his return.
We at TJR Wrestling wish Sheamus a speedy recovery.
