Devastating Update On Sheamus’ WWE Return
Sheamus has been absent from WWE since November 2025.
His last televised match took place on the November 17, 2025 episode of Monday Night Raw, where he teamed up with John Cena and Rey Mysterio to defeat The Judgment Day.
It was later revealed that Sheamus had been sidelined indefinitely due to a shoulder injury. As a result, he was also pulled from the Last Time Is Now tournament and was replaced by The Miz.
His wife confirmed on Instagram that he underwent major shoulder surgery at the Birmingham Surgery Center in Alabama on December 30, 2025.
In late April 2026, Sheamus provided a health update, revealing that his shoulder started troubling him around May or June 2025. He took some shots to temporarily manage the pain, but around the holidays, his arms stopped moving. He added he is in rehab and eager to get back in the ring.
“Yeah, this one has been difficult. It kind of came out of nowhere. I started noticing my shoulder around May-June at Clash in Paris against Rusev. It was bothering me and I thought I tore it. I got a couple of shots in there and it felt good for a little while, but ultimately it was just a matter of time before it stopped moving on me.”
“I tried to push through it to the point where I couldn’t move my arms. I had surgery on December 30. Ever since then, I’ve been rehabbing. I’m dying to get back in the ring and back to work. I have cabin fever.”
