MJF’s Former Partner Expected To Join WWE

MJF’s ex-partner could join WWE soon.

Richard Holliday is a rising star in the world of professional wrestling. He was part of Major League Wrestling for several years. During this time, he was involved in a tag team with current AEW star MJF.

Together, they even won the MLW World Tag Team Championship once. While MJF moved on to AEW, where he became one of the biggest stars in the industry, Richard Holliday stayed behind in MLW. Richard still continues to work on the independent scene. However, his big break may be coming anytime soon.

According to a report from Fightful Select, there is internal interest from WWE regarding Richard Holliday. One source even indicated that they expect him to be signed by the sports entertainment juggernaut. Richard missed the recent Boston TNA tapings, which surprised several people in the company and led to inquiries. It is reported that he is expected with WWE.

“Regarding Richard Holliday, it should be noted that we can only confirm internal interest from the company. One source had indicated they expected him to be signed. He’s been playing it up on social media to an almost suspicious level. He wasn’t at the Boston TNA tapings which surprised a number of people at TNA, leading to the inquiries. We do expect him to land in WWE.”

Luke Gallows wants Sheamus to join AEW and attack MJF

Sheamus recently left WWE after several years with the company. After his departure, MJF called him out on social media and asked him to “bring that smoke.” During an interview with TMZ Inside The Ring, Luke Gallows suggested that the Celtic Warrior should show up in AEW and attack MJF. The former WWE star said that people will lose their minds if this happens.

“You see that MJF and him teased each other [on social media], if he pops out, the arena goes dark and the lights come on and he pump kicks his head off, people are gonna lose their sh*t,” Luke Gallows said. [H/T WrestlingNews.co]

It remains to be seen if Sheamus will move to All Elite Wrestling in the near future and start a feud with Maxwell Jacob Friedman.
