Big Title Feud Pitched For LA Knight In WWE, It’s Not Against Roman Reigns
LA Knight was WWE’s workhorse in 2025, having competed in the most matches.
He earned a well-deserved break after being written off in early December following a vicious backstage attack by Logan Paul and Bronson Reed of The Vision.
It was speculated that his 2026 run would be his best, projecting him as the company’s top babyface on Raw. However, his current appearances have been anything but that, with many fans laying the blame on a viral clip from Season 2 of WWE: Unreal.
The clip featured a backstage interaction between LA Knight and Triple H, wherein the CCO is seen admonishing Knight after he messed up a spot in the 2025 Money in the Bank ladder match, which was ultimately won by Seth Rollins.
This year, he has yet to earn a title match after falling short in qualifying bouts, which was a common theme with him in 2025.
Knight has, however, earned a spot on the SummerSlam card, where he will team up with Royce Keys and Solo Sikoa to face The Bloodline’s Jey & Jimmy Uso and Jacob Fatu in a six-man tag team match.
WWE Title Feud Pitched For LA Knight
Whether or not WWE manages to resurrect LA Knight remains to be seen. The lack of risks the company has taken with him has disappointed many viewers, who believe he deserves a fair chance at a major title.
Elsewhere, David LaGreca has proposed a title feud for The Megastar after SummerSlam.
At the Biggest Party of the Summer, the Raw title scene will feature Seth Rollins challenging Roman Reigns for the World Heavyweight Championship.
In the recent past, Knight has tried to get under the skin of Reigns by accusing him of manipulating The Usos again and reviving The Bloodline. He was also unhappy with Rollins receiving a title shot, which resulted in him confronting The Visionary a couple of weeks ago.
Rollins responded by saying that if he defeated Reigns at SummerSlam, Knight could have a crack at it, something that was discussed on a recent episode of Busted Open Radio.
La Greca said that adding Knight into the title picture would be a fresh approach for WWE considering how popular the 43-year-old is with the fans.
If Seth is going to win and defeat Roman, and Roman is going to leave and now it’s going to be LA Knight and Seth, and they used last week as a planting on the seed to see how it would go, and then (Monday) was the follow up as far as crowd investment, I would not be shocked to see them use Seth Rollins as your champion to get LA Knight over.
With both of them face-to-face, I think LA Knight has the best chance of succeeding, chasing Seth Rollins. [H/T: WrestleTalk.com]
