Jey Uso has reacted to some WWE fans who were unhappy about his big win on SmackDown.

The King and Queen of the Ring tournaments have reached the finals after Jey Uso and Liv Morgan picked up big wins on SmackDown in Kansas City.

In the King of the Ring Semifinals, former World Heavyweight Champion Jey Uso defeated rising young star Je’Von Evans, with Evans looking very impressive in defeat. Jey picked up the win with a Uso Splash.

By winning in the KOTR Semifinals, Jey will move on to the King of the Ring Finals against Raw’s powerhouse Oba Femi. That match will take place at WWE Night of Champions on June 27th in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

If Jey Uso wins King of the Ring, he has said he will go after the WWE Title at SummerSlam rather than the World Heavyweight Title held by his cousin, Roman Reigns. If Femi wins, it is assumed he would go after the World Heavyweight Title, but that hasn’t been stated officially.

Since Jey is a former World Heavyweight Champion, many fans online are upset that WWE would push him to the KOTR Finals instead of a younger star like Evans.

While posting on his Instagram story, Jey Uso responded to the hate:

“Yall really love me now? Watch when I beat Oba.

“The more u hate on me, the more broke u stay.”

On Twitter/X, Jey reacted to fan hate, laughing it off.

Jey Uso Considers Himself A Top Guy In WWE

When Jey Uso was on the “What Do You Wanna Talk About?” podcast with Cody Rhodes back in February, while he wasn’t being pushed much in singles, he shared his perspective, saying he considered himself a top guy in WWE.

“We’re all still competing. Especially with you (Cody Rhodes), I still compete with you. Man, come on, man. Come on. I still compete with you, I still compete with Seth (Rollins). I look at the top homies.

Man, I consider myself a top guy, and internet, whatever. Y’all say — whatever… I’m him. I’m ‘Main Event’ Jey Uso now. Y’all know which twin I am now.”

Since WrestleMania 42, Jey Uso and his brother Jimmy Uso have been aligned with Roman Reigns in a reformed version of The Bloodline, along with cousin Jacob Fatu.

When The Bloodline was dominating WWE from the summer of 2020 until April 2024, they were heels who liked to abuse their power. These days, they are babyfaces who get cheered by the fans, so it’s a Bloodline with a different feel.

The WWE Night of Champions PLE takes place on Saturday, June 27th, with this lineup.
