Jey Uso has revealed what he really thinks of his current status in WWE.

It wasn’t so long ago that Jey Uso truly reached the upper echelons of WWE when he won the 2025 Royal Rumble. Uso’s popularity had skyrocketed with fans ever since he left The Bloodline behind, and “Yeet” became the new “What?”

Jey Uso went a step further when he shockingly won the World Heavyweight Championship from Gunther at WrestleMania 41. Uso’s title reign did not last long, however, and it seemed the company was intent on removing him from the main event scene again.

That removal seemed complete when Jey reunited with his brother Jimmy and set his sights on the tag team ranks once again. The Usos quickly captured the World Tag Team Championship, but tag team wrestling has rarely been a real focus at the top of the card for WWE.

Jey Uso Still A Main Event Guy In WWE

Speaking on Cody Rhodes’ What Do You Wanna Talk About? podcast, Jey Uso asserted that despite an apparent demotion, he still sees himself as one of the top guys in the company:

We’re all still competing. Especially with you (Cody Rhodes), I still compete with you. Man, come on, man. Come on. I still compete with you, I still compete with Seth (Rollins). I look at the top homies. Man, I consider myself a top guy, and internet, whatever. Y’all say — whatever… I’m him. I’m ‘Main Event’ Jey Uso now. Y’all know which twin I am now.” [h/t Fightful]

The Usos will defend their World Tag Team Championship on the February 9th edition of Raw against Akira Tozawa and Otis.
