Jade Cargill isn’t lacking in confidence while recounting her WWE debut in the Royal Rumble.
The women’s Royal Rumble match opened the Royal Rumble PLE at Tropicana Field. There were some surprises in the match with returning superstars, Jordynne Grace from TNA and also Jade Cargill making her WWE debt.
While Jade Cargill was officially announced as a WWE signing back in September 2023, the company decided to wait for her in-ring debut. The Royal Rumble was the perfect time for it, so when Cargill entered at 28, the fans gave her a big reaction and treated Cargill as a big star.
When Cargill entered the ring, it came at a time when Jax was dominating the match with multiple eliminations. Cargill hit a body slam on Jax, which looked impressive and Cargill lifted up Jax on her shoulders as well before eliminating Jax, who was the largest woman in the match.
In an interview with Denise Salcedo of Instinct Culture, Cargill spoke about eliminating Jax and striking a pose afterward.
“Of course, I always pose. We know I always pose. I think Nia Jax is one of the strongest women in the locker room. For me to go out there and dominate her and eliminate her, I felt like I was doing something big for the women’s division.”
Jade Cargill Learning In A WWE Ring
It was also reported by Bryan Alvarez of Wrestling Observer Radio that Cargill is still learning and reportedly has trouble remembering things in the ring.
“I was told that she has a hard time remembering a lot of stuff. And so she needs to get out there and start doing a bunch of matches with veteran WWE women on the road. Get her ready if she’s going to make her big WrestleMania debut.”
The first episode of Raw after the Royal Rumble take place tonight, January 29th, in Tampa.
