A legendary wrestling figure had some interesting thoughts about Jade Cargill’s recent wardrobe issues.

On the June 12th edition of WWE SmackDown, there was a Fatal 4-Way match between Charlotte Flair, Sol Ruca, Lyra Valkyria, and Jade Cargill. The women were in a Queen of the Ring qualifying match.

During the match, there was a spot where Cargill took a bump after a Flair/Ruca double superplex, and Cargill was grabbing her hair.

The reason that Cargill grabbed her hair like that is that she was wearing a wig, and it had come off her head.

As the match went on for five more minutes, Cargill kept holding onto her wig to make sure it didn’t fully come off as she tried to continue the match. Flair eventually got the win by making Valkyria tap out to the Figure Eight.

After the match, Cargill went on X and called her wig loss the biggest fear that she has during matches.

While speaking about Cargill’s hair issues on his Drive-Thru podcast, legendary wrestling manager/booker/announcer Jim Cornette wasn’t shy about

“Are all these women secretly bald that we don’t f**king know? But anyway, the point is, Jade’s hair in this particular instance, when she comes out, she has a nice-looking, long-haired—it may be blonde or silver or whatever the f**k it is—but this thing looked like a f**king possum’s nest fell out of a f*cking tree, to begin with.

How can you wrestle with something like that on your head? You’ve lived a pretty good life if that’s your worst nightmare. It didn’t cause any blood.

Her scalp didn’t come with it. My worst nightmare would be godd*mn plummeting six miles in the air in a flaming airplane or being in the middle of a godd**n major explosion or some s**t. That’s your worst nightmare. Get creative.

When you go to bed at night, you go, ‘Oh sh*t. Worst thing that ever happened to me—somebody pulled off my wig on TV and it didn’t even hurt,’ I’ll take that.”

Jade Cargill Is Just Getting Started In WWE

The former WWE Women’s Champion Jade Cargill has only been in WWE for less than three years and has improved a lot since joining the company.

Prior to losing the Women’s Title at WrestleMania, WWE Hall of Famer Booker T praised Cargill and said it was only the beginning.

“My thing is that this is just the beginning of the rise of Jade Cargill. She’s a star, she’s a megastar, she’s a superstar. She’s everything that WWE is. I’m serious, World Wrestling Entertainment, that’s Jade Cargill.

So my thing is, congratulations. You know, my first time getting a chance to say it publicly. I already told her privately, congratulations. But congratulations to Jade Cargill, and now it’s just onward and upward. But the thing is, this is just the beginning. It’s just the beginning for her, you know.”

Booker T went on to state that he believes Cargill will be able to rise above the hate.

“And the learning curve is still going to be there, you know? It’s still going to be so much more learning. But that’s one thing about this business. If you’re smart, you never stop learning. You really don’t. So for someone like Jade, I give her so much praise for going out there, listening to the naysayers, too. So many doubters man, so many haters.

I mean, people ain’t got nothing to do but go on social media and down somebody else. But I’m just glad that, you know, she was able to rise above all that and look and look at her now. She’s the champ.”

Jade Cargill is not currently scheduled for an announced match or segment on the June 19th edition of SmackDown, but she could still be on the show.
