Jacy Jayne Finds Her Next NXT Women’s Championship Opponent

The current NXT Women’s Champion, Jacy Jayne, has been the champion ever since she defeated Tatum Paxley at Gold Rush 2025 to win the title for a second time.

She has been a dominant champion since winning the belt and has faced many challengers throughout her reign. Last week, multiple wrestlers made a claim to be the new number one contender.

After an argument broke out between WrenQC and ZaRuca, the interim NXT General Manager, Robert Stone, announced that whoever gets the pin for their team in a tag team match against each other will become the number one contender.

Sol Ruca heads towards the NXT Women’s Championship

ZaRuca and WrenQC wrestled a highly entertaining and fast-paced match, which seemed to keep the NXT Universe entertained throughout the clash.

The two groups put on an exciting display, but personal ambitions seem to take center stage during ZaRuca’s performance, leading to increased friction between the two.

Zaria seemed to be heading towards a win for her side, but unbeknownst to her, she had tagged Sol Ruca in, and before Zaria could hit the spear and go for the win, Ruca hit the Sol Snatcher and picked up the win to become the number one contender.
