Injured WWE Star Dresses Like John Cena For Halloween

An injured WWE star recently dressed up as John Cena for Halloween.

Kevin Owens paid homage to one of his long-standing rivals, as evidenced by new pictures of him that have surfaced online.

During the September 5 episode of SmackDown, Cena faced Sami Zayn, then newly crowned United States Champion, in a title match, which was also his last on the blue brand.

Cena used this opportunity to pay tribute to some of his adversaries from the past by hitting their finishing moves on Zayn.

These wrestlers included CM Punk (GTS), Edge (Spear), Angle Slam (Kurt Angle), and Popup Powerbomb (Kevin Owens).

On September 6, Owens took to X to acknowledge Cena’s tribute to him. Obviously, he did not stop there.

The former WWE Universal Champion has again gone out of his way, wearing the vibrant yellow gear Cena debuted at Wrestlepalooza.

John Cena has 5 dates remaining on his retirement tour, with his next appearance set for Crown Jewel on October 11, where he will face AJ Styles in a singles match.

Kevin Owens Seen At Promotion Outside WWE

Kevin Owens is not sitting idly as he recuperates from having undergone neck surgery recently.

Owens has been away from WWE since April, when he announced he was stepping away from in-ring duties due to issues with his neck.

In this time, the Prizefighter helped out the indie promotion, Green Mountain Wrestling. Although he did not personally appear at the show, the company did air a video of him, where he introduced himself under his real name, Kevin Steen.

He was their first-ever champion. In the video, he said that he wished he could have been there in person.
