SPOILER: Top WWE Faction Officially Splits On 6/26 SmackDown
The latest episode of WWE SmackDown saw a major faction split officially.
The SmackDown episode scheduled to air on June 26 was taped on Tuesday at London’s O2 Arena, from where the wrestlers travel to Saudi Arabia for Night of Champions.
It witnessed one of the major factions split officially after weeks of prevailing tension among its members.
The group in question is MFT or My Family Tree, headed by Solo Sikoa, with Tama Tonga and Talla Tonga as the other existing members. Tonga Loa and JC Mateo were released by WWE on May 2.
Of late, the issue between the stablemates revolved around the reunion of The Bloodline on Raw, with Roman Reigns issuing Sikoa orders to join him.
While Sikoa refused to join him, Tama and Talla believed that his friction with Reigns was acting as a detriment to their progress on the blue brand. Last week, both the duo told Solo that winning the WWE Tag Team Championship was more important to them than kick-starting another war with Reigns.
Later in the night, Sikoa inadvertently cost his allies the title match against Damian Priest and R-Truth.
During Tuesday’s taping of the blue brand, both Talla Tonga and Tama Tonga told Solo that they were no longer associated with him as a group, at least for now.
Tama and Talla Tonga tell Solo Sikoa they are leaving the MFTs!!
Solo is now….. well, ya know…. Solo.

As Tama and Talla continue to chase their dream of winning the tag titles, the split leaves Solo Sikoa in a tricky spot.
Solo Sikoa Attacks Jimmy Uso On WWE Raw
As the leader of the MFT, Solo Sikoa believed that he had the onus of leading from the front and setting an example for his teammates to follow.
After being subject to constant threats from Jacob Fatu on behalf of Roman Reigns, the former WWE United States Champion vowed to make his presence felt on Raw.
On the red brand, tensions boiled between LA Knight and Jimmy Uso, setting up a singles match between them.
In the closing minutes of the bout, Solo Sikoa appeared by the ringside, leaving both Knight and Jimmy perplexed.
While Knight thought Sikoa was there to attack him, the leader of the MFT laid out Jimmy with a Samoan Spike. Knight capitalized on it and hit his opponent with BFT for the successful pinfall.
Solo managed to send a message to Reigns by attacking Jimmy. However, Tama Tonga and Talla Tonga did not reciprocate positively due to the burden of entering into another rivalry with the OTC and chose to split instead.
