Kevin Owens Addresses Fan Concern Over His Weight Loss Amid WWE Hiatus
Kevin Owens has quashed health concern reports amid WWE hiatus.
The 41-year-old star has been out of action since April 2025. At WrestleMania 41, he was scheduled to face Randy Orton in a singles match.
However, on the April 4 episode of SmackDown, he informed the crowd in attendance that he was injured and would not be competing at “The Grandest Stage of Them All.”
He also confirmed that a surgery was being planned down the road for him, which will keep him away from the squared circle indefinitely.
Kevin Owens recently attended an event at the Daytona International Speedway recently, and a picture of him sparked concerns from his fans.
In the image, The Prizefighter looks slimmer, resulting in fans speculating that he had lost weight during his time away from the competition.
Kevin Owens Addresses Recent Weight Loss
In the WWE ring, Kevin Owens is known for speaking his mind while cutting strong promos.
The Canadian caught the wind of comments from fans about his weight loss, and in his own brash manner, shut down any untoward speculation.
Owens took to X and tweeted the following:
Guys, stop panicking! I’m still fat! Everyone needs to calm down.

During his Daytona appearance, Owens discussed the surgery, but at the same time, seemed uncertain about a future return to wrestling.
The surgery was successful. I had a great doctor. The thing is, now we have to see how the bones fuse, and there’s no guarantee that it’s going to work. You know, how my body heals. And we’ll see. Some guys had success, some guys didn’t.
Fingers crossed, I can come back to wrestling in the next year. Really don’t know, though, but yeah, my goal is to come back. So hopefully that’s what happens.
