John Cena Has 5 Dates Remaining After WWE Wrestlepalooza
Only 5 dates remain in John Cena’s retirement tour.
At Money in the Bank PLE last year, Cena announced that he would be retiring from wrestling in 2025, following which WWE allotted him 36 dates.
Throughout his multiple appearances, the 48-year-old has turned heel, won the WWE Championship for a record 17th time, reverted to babyface before SummerSlam, and more recently, faced his long-standing rival Brock Lesnar.
Wrestlepalooza was a forgettable evening for John Cena, as fans were reminded of his 2014 SummerSlam clash with Lesnar, where the latter won in a squash match.
On Saturday, he was treated like a rag doll by The Beast Incarnate, who hit as many as six F5s before pinning him for the win.
In the midst of being dominated, Cena managed to find temporary reprieve by hitting multiple Attitude Adjustments, but to no avail.
After the match, the cameras panned through the audience to catch a couple of kids crying.
Brock Lesnar entered the ring once again, first taking out the referee with the F5, then nailing Cena again before exiting backstage.
