Brian Cage’s Wrestling Future Revealed

Brian Cage

With speculation running rampant regarding Brian Cage, it looks like the star’s wrestling future is secure as he signs a new deal with AEW and Ring of Honor.

Brian Cage joined AEW back at Double Or Nothing in 2020 when he was the surprise entrant in the Casino Ladder match and won the whole contest. He is best known for his time in Team Taz and for his reign as FTW Champion which he eventually lost to Ricky Starks.

Currently, Cage is one-third of the ROH Six-Man Tag Team Champions alongside Bishop Kaun and Toa Liona with the team retaining that title at Supercard of Honor at the end of March 2023.

Since then Brian Cage has emerged as a new ally of Swerve Strickland after Strickland announced that his Mogul Affiliates had something of a merger with Prince Nana’s Embassy.

That move surprised some fans as many expected Cage to move on but now Fightful Select has reported that Cage will remain All Elite for some time to come. The report notes that Brian Cage signed a “long-term, multi-year” deal to stay with AEW and ROH.

The report notes that WWE had some interest in signing Cage themselves but ultimately the star liked the offer he received from Tony Khan to stay where he was. The deal was agreed in principle before the new alliance with Strickland appeared on television.
