Female WWE Star Suffers Gruesome Injury On RAW, Face Covered In Bl**d
A major female WWE star suffered a legitimate injury during tonight’s episode of Monday Night RAW.
Sol Ruca has held the Women’s Intercontinental Championship since May, when she defeated Becky Lynch at Clash in Italy. Tonight on RAW, she put her title on the line against Raquel Rodriguez, who previously failed to dethrone her.
During the match, Rodriguez suffered a nose injury, leaving her face covered in blood. Referee Jessika Carr had to wipe the blood off Rodriguez’s face as the Judgment Day member continued the match.
Michael Cole acknowledged the gruesome injury on commentary, noting that the 35-year-old might have broken her nose.
Another WWE Star Was Also Injured On RAW
While Raquel Rodriguez’s injury is legitimate, another WWE star suffered a kayfabe injury on tonight’s episode of the red brand. The Alpha Academy squared off with The Vision in a non-title match, which ended in victory for Austin Theory and Bron Breakker.
After the match, Breakker and Theory assaulted Akira Tozawa before Otis rushed back to the ring to save his partner. While the 315 lb attempted to continue his attack on The Vision, Maxxine Dupri interfered to flirt with him, allowing The Vision to capitalize and take him down.
Before leaving, Theory grabbed a chair and smashed it into Otis’ head, leaving him seemingly unconscious. Byron Saxton later provided an update on The Alpha Academy member’s condition, revealing that he was ruled out indefinitely as a result of Theory’s actions.
