Major Championship Match Officially Announced For AEW Redemption Buy In
AEW Redemption is scheduled for Sunday. July 26, and a day ahead of the PPV, a major championship match was added to the match card.
The Conglomeration vs. The Lethal Twist has officially been added to the AEW Redemption card, with the AEW World Trios Championship set to be on the line during the Buy In pre-show.
On the July 25 edition of AEW Collision, The Conglomeration’s Orange Cassidy, Kyle O’Reilly, and Roderick Strong successfully defended the AEW World Trios Championship against Dalton Castle and The Outrunners (Turbo Floyd and Truth Magnum) in a hard-fought contest.
However, the champions’ celebration was cut short after the match when The Lethal Twist and The Demand stormed the ring and attempted to assault the competitors. The confrontation quickly escalated into a full-blown fight.
Following the chaotic post-match angle, AEW announced that The Conglomeration will put the AEW World Trios Championship on the line against The Lethal Twist at the AEW Redemption Buy In pre-show.

MJF Will Miss AEW Redemption
During Thursday’s Redemption Media Call, Tony Khan revealed that MJF is on a much-needed break after working so hard for the past year. The Salt of the Earth, MJF, lost the AEW World Championship to Kenny Omega at Dynamite: Beach Break on July 8, 2026.
Ahead of AEW Redemption, Fightful Select reported that MJF is not expected to be involved at the Sunday PPV. The report added that he’ll be back on TV sometime before All In.
“We’ve not heard anything about MJF’s involvement at Redemption as of now. He is expected to be factored into All In,” Fightful reported.
AEW Redemption will take place outside the US, at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. This will mark the first time an AEW PPV will take place in Montreal.
