Jade Cargill ‘Helps’ Charlotte Flair Qualify For SummerSlam Title Match, WWE Star Snaps On SmackDown
WWE is set to crown an interim Women’s Champion at SummerSlam next week after Rhea Ripley suffered a knee injury earlier this year.
Ripley’s injury meant that she won’t be able to compete at SummerSlam, causing WWE to announce a five-woman Interim Title Ladder Match.
Chelsea Green joined Tiffany Stratton and Jade Cargill in the match earlier tonight, leaving only two spots open. A second qualifying match scheduled for tonight saw Charlotte Flair take on Nia Jax.
Jax faced Cargill in a qualifying match last week, but lost the match after Flair attacked Jade, causing her to win via disqualification. This earned her another shot at qualifying as she faced Flair tonight.

The match was off to a heated start with both women going after one another. Nia took control of the match quickly and began dominating Flair.
As she went up the middle rope to hit the Annihilator, Flair used all of her strength to pick her up from the middle rope and hit a massive powerbomb.
Flair pinned Nia after the move, but she kicked out at the last second. Charlotte went to climb the turnbuckle, but that’s when Jade Cargill and The Baddies came out.

As Cargill distracted the referee, Michin and B-Fab went to attack Flair, but she turned the tide on them. She took them out, causing Jade to enter the ring herself.
She attacked Flair and began stomping on her along with The Baddies, causing the match to end in a disqualification win for Flair, allowing her to qualify for the ladder match.
Her loss to Flair meant that Jax has now lost both her shots at qualifying for the ladder match in the same fashion. She snapped following her ‘loss’ and flipped the announce table cover in anger.
