Triple H And Nick Khan Could Be In Serious Trouble In WWE

Triple H and Nick Khan could be in serious trouble.

Triple H took over creative control of WWE from Vince McMahon. During the initial years of his being in charge, things were functioning smoothly.

WWE was pulling in record gate numbers, and ratings were good due to some incredible booking around WrestleMania 40. However, after WrestleMania 40, things have gone downhill for the company. The booking of shows and PLEs has been a disaster. Additionally, ticket prices are at an all-time high, and many middle-class families are struggling to afford them. Hence, the sports entertainment juggernaut is struggling to sell tickets for its biggest Premium Live Events of the year. For example, WWE is struggling to sell tickets for SummerSlam 2026 even after cutting prices. It doesn’t help that Triple H is often blamed for many of the company’s shortcomings in recent years. Now, his job could be in jeopardy after a JPMorgan analysis of TKO’s share price noted that WWE RAW ratings have been trending down year over year.

“WWE fan dissatisfaction is worth watching but is not yet a structural problem. Premium live event viewing appears to be growing, although Raw ratings are trending down year over year.” [H/T Cultaholic Wrestling on X]

Triple H and Nick Khan need to figure out how to increase WWE ratings

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, if WWE doesn’t improve its ratings by 2028, the company will start pressuring Nick Khan and Triple H.

“If WWE ratings are not strong around 2028, the belief is TKO President Mark Shapiro and others will “really start pressuring” Nick Khan and Triple H.” [H/T Cultaholic Wrestling on X]

Based on recent booking of shows and talent, Triple H and Nick Khan have their work cut out for them if they want to save their jobs. There are a lot of factors that need to improve in order for the company to increase its ratings.
