Rhea Ripley’s relationship with wrestling fans, while not dysfunctional, is not cordial either.

Her feelings towards a section of fandom stem from issues such as breach of privacy, public harassment, and body shaming, to name a few.

Ripley, who is married to AEW star Buddy Murphy, has previously called out fans for privacy violations like sending gifts or mail to her private residence or turning up at her home uninvited.

During last year’s Clash in Paris, the 29-year-old had complained about being mobbed by fans, putting her in a precarious position. She likened them to a pack of rabid zombies, warning them against rushing up to her to get photos and autographs.

Amid her absence from WWE due to an injury, Rhea Ripley again took to Twitter to lambast wrestling fans on the platform, calling them delusional. While her tweet sums up as a fiery rant, she does not provide an exact context, leaving readers to speculate.

Rhea Ripley’s constant bickering with fans does not necessarily sum up her real personality, as she has been approachable many times. It’s just a matter of understanding that the wrestlers need their space, especially while battling a career slump or injuries.

Rhea Ripley Learns Devastating News Ahead Of WWE SummerSlam

Rhea Ripley’s last television appearance was on the June 5 edition of SmackDown, where she spoke about leaving Jade Cargill in the rearview after beating her at Clash in Italy.

Notably, she was wearing a brace on her right knee, indicating that she was dealing with an injury.

Speaking at a public event, she revealed that she tore her meniscus, and while it had been healing, she was unable to bend her knee. She was subsequently replaced at Night of Champions by Women’s United States Champion Tiffany Stratton, who successfully defended her title against Jade Cargill.

Meanwhile, on last week’s SmackDown, it was announced that WWE would be crowning an interim Women’s Champion because Ripley was not going to be at SummerSlam due to her injury.

Further, five women would compete at the Biggest Party of the Summer in a Ladder Match to be crowned the Interim Champion, for which the qualifying matches have begun. So far, Tiffany Stratton and Jade Cargill have qualified. Charlotte Flair will face Nia Jax in the next match.

As of this time, it is unclear as to when Rhea Ripley will be back on television again.
