Paul Heyman On WWE Star: “He Reminds Me So Much Of Roman Reigns”

Paul Heyman has given his honest thoughts on a major WWE star.

Ever since Oba Femi made his NXT debut, it was clear that there was something special about The Ruler. He dominated the black and silver brand for a few years.

It didn’t take long for him to win the NXT North American Championship. He had one of the most dominant reigns in history. Oba then went on to win the NXT Title. After a string of impressive performances on the black and silver brand, Oba moved up to the main roster earlier this year. He delivered an impressive performance during the Royal Rumble match. The Ruler quickly managed to become an overnight sensation on the main roster. At WrestleMania 42, Oba went one-on-one with Brock Lesnar and destroyed The Beast Incarnate. The two men came face-to-face again at Clash in Paris, where Brock defeated Oba. Following this loss, The Ruler went on to win the King of the Ring tournament. However, after he won the King of the Ring tournament, Brock Lesnar showed up to confront him. Therefore, the former NXT Champion gave up his World Title opportunity to face Lesnar in a Hell in a Cell match at WWE SummerSlam 2026.

Paul Heyman compares Oba Femi to Roman Reigns

During the latest season of WWE Unreal, Paul Heyman broke character to give his honest thoughts on Oba Femi. The WWE Hall of Famer said that Oba reminds him so much of Roman Reigns in how quickly he is able to process information. He also said that The Ruler understands that his youth is an asset.

“He reminds me so much of Roman, because when you speak to him, he’s very measured. He processes quickly, and he understands his youth is an asset,” Heyman said. [H/T WrestlingNewsCo]
