Bayley Returns To WWE Ring Amid Departure Rumors

Bayley has returned to the WWE ring.

Bayley has been one of the pillars of the women’s division ever since she made her WWE debut. Over the years, she has been involved in some iconic moments and matches.

The Role Model was also one-half of the first-ever Women’s Tag Team Champions along with Sasha Banks. The Role Model had a very successful run in the sports entertainment juggernaut. She even won the Royal Rumble in 2024 and went on to win the WWE Women’s Championship. However, in the past year, her booking has taken a huge hit. She and Lyra Valkyria were unsuccessful in winning the Women’s Tag Team Championships despite multiple attempts. This led Lyra to turn on The Role Model a few weeks ago. These two women faced off at Saturday Night’s Main Event, where Lyra defeated the former WWE Women’s Champion. After the match, Lyra assaulted Bayley and laid her out with a Nightwing. Following this loss, it was reported that the Role Model had wrestled her final WWE match. Since this loss, she has not been seen on WWE TV.

Despite the rumors of her WWE departure, Bayley competed at a recent live event in Stockton, California, against Sol Ruca and Lyra Valkyria in a triple threat match.

Dutch Mantell urges Bayley to take advantage of her situation

Speaking on his Story Time with Dutch Mantell podcast, the wrestling veteran said that Bayley should capitalize on this and make as much money as she can.

“You know what I’ve got to say about it? More power to her (Bayley). Make all the money you can because this is the only time you’re going to be able to make it. So, take advantage of your situation and capitalize on it.”

Dutch Mantell also said that spending six to eight years in the same wrestling company is difficult because things could get boring.

“Hey, six to eight years in a company? That’s a long time. It’s hard because I’ve done it. It’s hard to keep somebody alive if they’ve wrestled everybody they have wrestled, and especially if it doesn’t affect today.” [H/T Sescoops]

It remains to be seen when the Role Model will make her return to WWE TV or if the rumors of her departure are true.
