CM Punk’s Cryptic Post Casts More Doubt On Bayley’s WWE Future
CM Punk’s cryptic post about Bayley has got the fans talking even more.
The 37-year-old veteran has been with WWE since 2012. Her current deal is reportedly set to expire this year, and she might become a free agent in October 2026 if she does not re-sign with the company.
As of now, she hasn’t negotiated or signed a new contract with WWE, as per reports. Rumors also suggest that once her current deal is up, she might head to AEW to join her real-life best friend, Mercedes Moné, FKA Sasha Banks, in WWE.
A while ago, Keilani Jordan commented on one of Bayley’s Instagram posts, asking her, “Don’t leave us.” This led the WWE Universe to erupt on social media, debating whether the San Jose-born female wrestler is on her way out of WWE.
Now, Punk’s cryptic post has added more fuel to the speculation about The Role Model’s WWE departure.
Is CM Punk Hinting About Bayley’s WWE Departure?
The Second City Saint recently took to his Instagram account to post a picture of Bayley standing in front of the titantron with Bayley’s theme song playing in the background. Punk didn’t caption his post, but it was enough to get fans talking on social media.

Amid rumors of her departure from WWE, Bayley was recently removed from a major event. She was originally advertised for a SummerSlam tryout on Thursday, July 30, but Ivy Nile later replaced her on the promotional graphic materials for the event. This has further cast doubt on her WWE future.
The former WWE Women’s Champion last wrestled at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event on July 18, where she faced a humiliating loss to her former friend turned bitter rival Lyra Valkyria in a singles match. She was attacked by her even after the match, adding to her humiliation.
On the following Raw, Lyra addressed the WWE Universe, claiming that she ran the first Women’s Grand Slam Champion out of WWE.
