AEW Dynamite and Rampage both took place in Arlington, Texas at the College Park Center and two stars made their in-ring debut for the company.

Dynamite was another big night of AEW action as the Continental Classic continued with matches in both the Blue and Gold League. Jon Moxley picked up a huge win over Swerve Strickland to ensure he’ll be in the league finals with a chance of competing for the American Triple Crown at Worlds End.

Hangman Adam Page was the victim of The Devil at the end of the show following his run-in with AEW World Champion MJF the prior week. AEW has given the biggest clue yet of who is behind The Devil’s mask with the attack on Page.

The Von Erichs were in attendance in the state that is synonymous with the wrestling dynasty ahead of the release of The Iron Claw movie. Kevin Von Erich and his sons, the former MLW Tag Team Champions Marshall and Ross Von Erich were featured on the show and that led to a match being made for Rampage that will air on December 15.

The Von Erichs Ride Again In Texas For AEW

On Dynamite, Orange Cassidy interrupted a backstage interview with the Von Erichs telling them that he needed two partners for Rampage. Danhausen and Trent – Cassidy’s usual partners seemed upset – but Cassidy said that this is Texas so Ross and Marshall agreed.

On Rampage, the trio took on Jake Hager, Matt Menard, and Angelo Parker in a trios match which ultimately Marshall Von Erich won for his team. After the bout, the losing side continued the attack but was ultimately thwarted by Kevin Von Erich who took Hager out with the Iron Claw.
