WWE Tried To Bury Ludwig Kaiser Controversy, Claims AAA Figure

Ludwig Kaiser was recently embroiled in a bit of controversy.

Ludwig Kaiser’s career has taken off over the past year after he started portraying the character El Grande Americano onscreen. This also helped him get over, and he became a massive star in AAA.

Over the past few months, Kaiser was involved in a feud with Chad Gable over who was the only Grande Americano. This feud was recently put in jeopardy due to Kaiser’s actions. On April 26th, Ludwig Kaiser was engaging in an aggressively intimate manner with his real-life girlfriend, Andrea Bazarte, when another man reportedly asked them to “show some manners.” Kaiser then lost his cool, and he struck the man repeatedly and pushed him to the group. Kaiser then turned himself in to Orange County Jail and was arrested on May 20, 2026. However, he was released the same night after posting a $1000 cash bond. WWE didn’t punish Ludwig Kaiser for his actions.

Kaiser’s arrest threatened to put his mask vs. mask match against Chad Gable in jeopardy. However, the match took place as planned on May 30, 2026, at AAA Noche de Los Grandes. It was El Grande Americano who emerged victorious, forcing the Original El Grande Americano to unmask himself. This was a fitting end to this storyline.

Konnan claimed that WWE tried to bury Ludwig Kaiser’s arrest

Speaking on his Keepin’ It 100 podcast, Konnan said that Ludwig Kaiser’s actions were out of character for him since he is a very laid-back person who is never looking for problems. He also acknowledged that nobody knows much about what happened because WWE tried to sweep it under the rug.

“If you have a girlfriend or wife, and you know, when it comes to them, you don’t ever want to be embarrassed. So, who knows what he did, what he didn’t do. It is out of for him because he’s a laid back guy who’s never looking for problems. It’s kind of a weird story because we don’t know hardly anything about it. They kind of tried to sweep it under the rug, you know what I’m saying?”

It remains to be seen if there will be any repercussions down the line for Ludwig Kaiser after his actions.
