WWE Star Shares Backstage Photos With AJ Lee: “I’m So Good”
Roxanne Perez is on cloud nine personally.
The Prodigy has been a longtime admirer of AJ Lee, who returned to WWE on the September 5 edition of SmackDown. It was the first time she stepped into a squared circle in over ten years.
It was then announced that Lee and her husband CM Punk were returning to RAW on September 8.
While Roxanne Perez did not have a match, she was by the ringside during her tag team partner Raquel Rodriguez’s singles match against Lyra Valkyria.
She was also featured in a backstage segment, where The Judgment Day members Finn Balor and JD McDonagh confronted Dominik Mysterio about his recent collaborations with El Grande Americano.
Mysterio seemed upset by their accusations and exited the segment; Perez excused herself to check up on him.
While that interaction was part of the storyline, Roxanne Perez experienced a special, non-kayfabe moment backstage when she reunited with AJ Lee.
On multiple occasions Roxanne has spoken about her admiration for Lee. Both individuals had first interacted in 2014 when Lee was still a part of WWE and Perez was a fan.
Her reunion with Lee was a hot topic backstage.
Cathy Kelley took to X, asking if anyone had checked on Perez. The 24-year-old replied to the tweet, sharing a few candid pictures with her role model.

Roxanne Perez To Face Lyra Valkyria Next Week On WWE RAW
Lyra Valkyria almost came to blows with the women of The Judgment Day faction last week, setting up a match with Raquel Rodriguez this week.
While Valkyria lost, she will face Roxanne Perez next week in a singles match on WWE RAW. As expected, Rodriguez will be in Perez’s corner.
This will be the first time AJ Lee sees Perez wrestle, as she and Punk are scheduled to be present for the taping.
