Roxanne Perez Reacts To AJ Lee’s Shocking WWE Return

Roxanne Perez has shared here excitement about AJ Lee’s return to WWE.

Lee returned to the Stamford promotion by making an appearance on the September 5 episode of SmackDown, wherein she confronted Women’s Intercontinental Champion Becky Lynch.

Lynch was previously involved in a WWE RAW segment with CM Punk, Lee’s real-life husband, on September 1. During a verbal duel, she slapped Punk and followed it up with numerous strikes to his face.

At the time, Punk left the ring without saying anything.

However, Lynch could not resist insulting the former World Champion again on the latest SmackDown taping and attacked him again.

While Punk exited the ring again, he claimed he brought someone with him. It was AJ Lee.

Lee returned to the company after over 10 years, having previously retired due to a cervical spinal injury. The former Divas Champion attacked Lynch, much to the joy of Punk and everyone in the audience at the Allstate Arena.

Social media soon went abuzz with AJ Lee’s return being hotly discussed by WWE fans.

Former Women’s Tag Team Champion Roxanne Perez is one of the admirers of AJ Lee, even having claimed that she can’t retire unless she’s had a match with Lee.

Roxanne has every reason to feel excited, as both superstars will appear on the RAW brand and set up a collision course in the near future.

While that remains to be seen, Roxanne Perez replied to a social media post, calling Lee’s return to the promotion “the greatest in wrestling.”

The 23-year-old recently appeared for an interview on Insight with Chris Van Vliet, wherein she named AJ Lee as one of her wrestling inspirations.
