WWE Star Physically Attacked Donald Trump In Never Aired Segment
A WWE veteran claimed that he once physically attacked Donald Trump, but that segment never aired. The star in question is The Boogeyman (aka Marty Wright).
The Boogeyman is known for his time in the WWE from 2005 to 2009, where he portrayed a creepy gimmick of a demon who eats worms. He is still under a legend’s deal with the Sports Entertainment Juggernaut.
At WrestleMania 23 back in 2007, The Boogeyman shared a backstage segment with the current President of the United States, Donald Trump. Meanwhile, the 61-year-old veteran revealed more details regarding his segment with Trump, which didn’t air on TV.

Speaking on the Going Ringside podcast, WWE veteran The Boogeyman recalled his WrestleMania 23 segment with Donald Trump, revealing how Trump didn’t want to sell his gimmick and told him to bring a sandwich:
But I got to tell you, in that segment, when I come up from behind the couch, and he had also Miss America there as well. And she ran off. But then Donald, Mr. Trump, President Trump as he is, he didn’t want to be frightened.”
He didn’t want to sell my character. No. Yeah. He didn’t want to sell my character. So, he’s talking about how this place is a circus. True enough it is. But he didn’t want to sell my character. So, he said, ‘Go make me a sandwich.’”
The Boogeyman revealed he came back after walking off and grabbed Donald Trump’s collar, but that part was cut from the segment because Trump didn’t want to look scared:
You see me walk off screen, but then I came back and I grabbed him by the collar and I said, ‘How about a worm sandwich?”
They cut it. They cut it because he did not want to show fear. Well, no. He didn’t want to look scared of me. He didn’t want to show that he was frightened. But this is a true story.”
The Boogeyman further detailed the whole segment with Donald Trump, which didn’t air:
I said, one, two, I’m coming for you, three, go through my whole boogeyman chant, nursery rhyme kind of deal.” “I’m the Boogeyman and I’m coming to get you.”
Miss America at the time, I forget her name, she runs, she gets out, she runs, and looks, I mean, not but Donald, he looks around and said, ‘This place is a circus.’ And he says, ‘Oh, go fix me a sandwich.’”
So, I walked off screen. I’m like, he really would tell me to go fix me sandwich. So, I went back and I grabbed him by a shirt and I said, ‘How about a worm sandwich?’” [H/T Ringside News]
The Boogeyman concluded that he was fortunate to meet Donald Trump before he was the President.
