WWE Accidentally Reveals Nixed WrestleMania Plans
A graphical error has revealed that WWE had something else planned for one of this year’s WrestleMania matches.
One of the matches taking place on Sunday, April 2nd on the second night of WrestleMania 39 is a Fatal 4-Way Women’s Showcase tag team match. The match will see Raquel Rodriguez & Liv Morgan team up against Ronda Rousey & Shayna Baszler, Natalya & Shotzi and the last team that was added to the match – Sonya Deville & Chelsea Green.
The team of Sonya and Chelsea earned their WrestleMania spot when they defeated Candice LeRae and “Michin” Mia Yim this past Monday on the March 27th edition of Raw.
Going into WM 39, Chelsea was featured in segments backstage and around the ring with Carmella. It appeared as though the duo was going to be a tag team. However, Carmella has been taken off WWE TV despite being advertised for a tag team match with Chelsea on the March 20th Raw. Piper Niven took Carmella’s spot in that match and was pinned by Bianca Belair, who teamed with Asuka.
On Twitter, Deville shared this graphic from WrestleMania in LA showing Carmella’s image with Green because that’s who was originally going to team with Green plans changed. Deville had a bit of a “hmmm” reaction to it.

While Carmella is not wrestling at WrestleMania 39, she was part of the stage reveal with her husband Corey Graves.
