WWE is talking to E! Network about working together to get back to producing a new reality TV show together.

Over the past decade, WWE produced two reality shows with E! Network focused on the women’s division. Total Divas premiered in 2013 and ran for nine seasons until 2019 with 120 episodes produced.

It was reported in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter (available via subscription) by Dave Meltzer that WWE is talking to E! Network about a new reality show. The premise of the show would be to find legitimate wrestling couples. Meltzer said that some upcoming signings could take place if the project is finalized.

A wrestling couple mentioned by Meltzer as possibly being part of the show is Matt Cardona and his wife Chelsea Green. They were married on December 31, 2021. Green is expected to return to WWE soon while Cardona could also be back in WWE with his wife as part of this new reality show. Cardona was known as Zack Ryder during his WWE career, but has said if he goes back to WWE he’ll use his real name Matt Cordona instead.

Some of the women that were part of Total Divas initially were The Bella Twins (Nikki & Brie Bella), Natalya, Naomi and Eva Marie. Natalya is the only woman that was part of the cast for all nine seasons since The Bellas were considered guest stars in the ninth season.

During the Total Divas run, they focused on the relationships of WWE divas, which is a term that was dropped in 2016 since WWE decided to call them women again. During the run of Total Divas, Natalya was married to Tyson Kidd, Naomi was married to Jimmy Uso, Brie Bella was married to Bryan Danielson (Daniel Bryan in WWE) and Nikki Bella was in a long-term relationship with John Cena, which led to an engagement, but they did not get married.

The success of Total Divas led to a spinoff series called Total Bellas featuring The Bella Twins and their family. Total Bellas ran from October 2016 to January 2021 for a total of 54 episodes.
