A free agent has caught the eyes of WWE officials about a potential future with the company.

The start of 2024 is an interesting period for the pro wrestling business because there are several free agents that companies like WWE, AEW, TNA, NJPW and others are likely talking to while wondering how those wrestlers can fit into their companies.

It has been reported by Nick Hausman of Haus of Wrestling that World Wrestling Entertainment is “super high” on former NWA Women’s World Champion Kamille. Hausman reports that Kamille “is high up on the company’s radar and that they are in signing mode following the UFC and WWE merger.”

There is also a belief that WWE owners TKO Group feel the company is in “acquisition mode” and they are looking to acquire fresh talents.

During her NWA career, Kamille held the NWA Women’s title for 814 days before losing it in August 2023 to Kenzie Page.

Potential WWE Superstar Kamille Is Ready For Free Agency

In September 2023, Kamille had already made up her mind that she was ready to be a free agent since her NWA run expired at the end of that year. She spoke about betting on herself.

“You get comments all the time, ‘go here, go here,’ well, there is something called a contract. I don’t know if people forget or fantasy book, but I have been under contract and that’s that.”

“When it comes to going somewhere else, challenging myself, I’ve been at NWA for five years. In October, it’ll be exactly five years. 30 years old, if there is a time to take a risk and bet on myself, now is the time.”

Another woman that WWE is rumored to be signing soon is former Women’s Champion Naomi, who is the current Knockouts Champion in TNA.
