One longtime NWA Champion is ready to start a new career chapter.

At NWA 75, Kamille was finally dethroned as NWA Women’s Champion after a staggering 812 days when she lost to Kenzie Page. The star first captured the title all the way back in June of 2021 with a victory over Serena Deeb.

After her bout with Page on August 27th, the former champion declared that her work there was done.

Speaking in a new interview with Steve Fall of WrestlingNews.co, Kamille opened up about her title reign and how she’s grown as a wrestler throughout her time in the National Wrestling Alliance. She believes her talent and experience would make her an asset to any company.

“First year of being a champion, all about proving myself. Second year of my reign was when I started, and I think the fans started, to recognize my ability, what I can do, what I can offer. That’s when you start realizing that I’ve grown to be ‘a good catch.’ A good acquisition for any company to have. I have built that through NWA, and I’m grateful for that and the confidence to know that I can do well anywhere. The highest of highs or an Indie show at the Armory. I have the talent to make that happen.”

“Now Is The Time” – Kamille On Taking New Risks In Her Career After 5 Years With NWA

For now, the star is still under contract with the National Wrestling Alliance, but she says that after nearly five years with the promotion, it’s time to challenge herself.

“You get comments all the time, ‘go here, go here,’ well, there is something called a contract. I don’t know if people forget or fantasy book, but I have been under contract and that’s that. When it comes to going somewhere else, challenging myself, I’ve been at NWA for five years. In October, it’ll be exactly five years. 30 years old, if there is a time to take a risk and bet on myself, now is the time.”

The former champion would not disclose how much time remains on her current deal. She is currently set to star in the role of June Byers in an upcoming film about the life of Mildred Burke, a role originally slated to be played by WWE’s Charlotte Flair.
