WWE Hall of Fame News: Kid Rock Will Join 2018 Induction Class
It was announced on Monday that singer Kid Rock will join WWE’s Hall of Fame in 2018 as the celebrity inductee.
The news was broken by Billboard with Rock commenting on what the honor means to him.
“Every time I go to a WWE event I always have a good time; there is nothing like it and no better fans in the world. The Hall of Fame ceremony will be a fun night and it will be great to see everyone again. I have so much respect for what those guys and girls do. I’m grateful to WWE for letting me be a part of WrestleMania weekend.”
Kid Rock joins Goldberg, The Dudley Boyz, Ivory, Jeff Jarrett, Hillbilly Jim and Warrior Award recipient Jarrius “JJ” Robertson as the 2018 Hall of Fame class. Kid Rock was on a list of names that were rumored for the Hall of Fame a few months ago, so the rumor was true.
Here’s a Triple H tweet trying to justify this selection.
.@KidRock has lent his signature sound to many @WWE events over the years. His support of our Superstars, events and commitment to our troops has been unwavering. For that and more, welcome to the celebrity wing of #WWEHOF. pic.twitter.com/sMwok8jklH

Does he deserve it? Of course not, but it’s the WWE Hall of Fame. It’s not about deserving a lot of the time.
