A WWE Hall of Famer has spoken out about how at the 30th anniversary of Raw show, only Kurt Angle thanked him for being part of the same segment.

The January 23rd edition of WWE’s Monday Night Raw was a 30th-anniversary celebration of WWE’s flagship show. While many current stars were featured on that episode of Raw, there are also plenty of WWE Hall of Famers and legends that made appearances as well.

There was a segment on the show where D-Generation X’s Triple H, Shawn Michaels, Road Dogg & X-Pac did a promo segment where they were joined by WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle. The legends were interrupted by Imperium’s GUNTHER, Ludwig Kaiser & Giovanni Vinci.

While the DX guys all made excuses about not being able to wrestle (the general idea is they are all too old at this point in their careers), Seth “Freakin” Rollins and The Street Profits showed up to compete.

All of that led to WWE Hall of Famer Teddy Long going back to his Smackdown General Manager roots to show up on the stage and put Rollins & The Street Profits against Imperium in a six-man tag team match. Rollins & The Street Profits got the win while Kurt Angle was the referee of the match.

During an appearance Sportskeeda Wrestling’s The Wrestling Time Machine podcast, Teddy Long claims that Kurt Angle was the only one in the segment that really thanked him for being in the segment.

“Had the chance to meet him at RAW XXX and he was part of the segment I was in, and he was old school. Nobody came up and said a word but Kurt, he was old school. When we came back, we always thank each other. ‘Hey man, thank you for the time.’ Nobody said that to me but Kurt Angle. That’s what we have no more.”

Recently, Kurt Angle revealed that he’s having back surgery soon to deal with some pain he has been dealing with.
