WWE recently filed multiple trademarks for several new wrestlers on NXT.

In early 2026, a handful of top superstars in the company’s developmental brand were promoted to the main roster, which left a massive void to be filled.

While Jordynne Grace and Trick Williams were signed to SmackDown, Je’Von Evans joined Raw during a live show. The organization has yet to finalize on Oba Femi’s status after he made appearances on both shows.

This movement of talent also saw various wrestlers from EVOLVE and the WWE ID system get booted up to NXT.

These talents are: Sean Legacy, Eli Knight, and The Vanity Project trio of Jackson Drake, who is the Evolve Champion, Brad Baylor, and Ricky Smokes.

The company has now filed a trademark for these wrestlers, with the report reading:

Entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibitions and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer rendered live and through broadcast media including television and radio, and via the internet or commercial online service; providing wrestling news and information via a global computer network; providing information in the fields of sports and entertainment via an online community portal; providing a website in the field of sports entertainment information; fan club services, namely, organizing sporting events in the field of wrestling for wrestling fan club members; organizing social entertainment events for entertainment purposes for wrestling fan club members; providing online newsletters in the fields of sports entertainment; online journals, namely blogs, in the field of sports entertainment.

Promoted Stars Win WWE NXT Tag Team Championship

On last week’s NXT episode, The Vanity Project won a multi-team bout to become the #1 contender for the WWE NXT Tag Team Championship held by DarkState.

During the February 24 taping, Brad Baylor and Ricky Smokes scored one of the biggest upsets in modern day wrestling by not only defating Osiris Griffin and Saquon Shugars, but also becoming the tag champions within two months of joining the brand.

However, their victory came only after Tony D’Angelo attacked Shugars with the referee’s back turned around.
