WWE Release Hilarious Drew McIntyre Shirt Taunting CM Punk

CM Punk Drew McIntyre WWE

CM Punk is on the shelf in WWE and while his fans might be disappointed, Drew McIntyre couldn’t be happier.

CM Punk tore his triceps in the Royal Rumble as he finished as runner-up to Cody Rhodes in the 30-man match. Despite the loss, many expected Punk to end up in a WrestleMania main event regardless, likely challenging Seth Rollins for the World Heavyweight Championship but that match is now off.

On the Raw following the Rumble, Punk revealed his diagnosis and one star who was thrilled to see Punk missing out on his dream of headlining WrestleMania was Drew McIntyre. McIntyre was one WWE star apparently not thrilled with Punk’s return to WWE and let out all his frustrations on the injured CM Punk by brutally attacking him.

On social media, McIntyre has been mocking Punk’s injury relentlessly and now WWE is cashing in on his antics, releasing a new t-shirt with McIntyre flashing the peace sign at a graveside with a headstone reading “CM Punk’s WrestleMania Main Event 2024-2024.”

There has been some surprise regarding Drew McIntyre’s ongoing involvement in his issues with CM Punk on WWE television. Drew McIntyre’s WWE contract is expected to end shortly after WrestleMania 40 meaning that unless something drastic changes, he will not be a part of the company by the time CM Punk can return to the ring.
