Major Update On The Hurt Syndicate’s AEW Future
The Hurt Syndicate has been off television for some time.
The last time the trio of MVP, Bobby Lashley, and Shelton Benjamin competed together was on the October 22 taping of AEW Dynamite, where they lost to The Opps while challenging for the World Trios Championship.
Benjamin was last seen on TV competing against Jon Moxley in a Continental Championship Eliminator bout on January 7, 2026, which he lost, whereas Lashley last participated in the AEW National Championship Casino Gauntlet Match, which Ricochet won at Full Gear in November 2025.
Amid speculations, Lashley revealed that he was not injured while speaking in an interview for Monopoly Events in February. The 49-year-old also expressed the desire to go after the Trios title once The Hurt Syndicate was back on television.
Right now, they’re pulling me up. They’re yanking me back in and saying, ‘It’s time. We’re ready to get back out there and win some titles.’ I’m healed.
Everybody thought I was hurt — I’m not hurt. You can’t hurt the Almighty. Ready to go.
MVP Shares Positive Update On The Hurt Syndicate
The Hurt Syndicate is a popular stable in AEW, and its presence is felt by fans.
A few months into 2025, MJF tried joining the faction, only to face rejection from its members. His pursuit continued, resulting in his being finally accepted in May.
However, a couple of months later, he was unanimously voted out after Lashley, MVP, and Benjamin accused him of scheming. Despite their limited time on TV together, the quartet produced watchable segments.
With MJF now riding alone as the AEW World Champion, The Hurt Syndicate appears to be ready to return to live taping.
Taking to X, MVP informed his followers that the members of the faction had gotten together and would be in action soon.
The coolest thing is that we are back together in @AEW and we’ll be back in action SOON!
Hurting people!!!
