A veteran AEW wrestler wants to be back on television and claims he’s not dealing with an injury.

Bobby Lashley is a member of AEW’s Hurt Syndicate stable with fellow veteran wrestlers MVP and Shelton Benjamin.

Since joining the AEW roster in November 2024, Lashley has mostly been a tag team partner with Benjamin, and the pair went on to hold the AEW Tag Team Titles.

The 49-year-old Lashley hasn’t wrestled in AEW since the Full Gear PPV in November. Following the show, it was reported that Lashley would be out of action due to injury, but there were no specifics on what the injury was or how long Lashley would be out.

During a recent interview at Monopoly Events, Bobby Lashley expressed an interest in the Hurt Syndicate going after AEW’s Trios Titles.

“I mean, between Shelton and MVP, we want to do things collectively. We want to move as a group. So I think we’re going after the trios titles. Let’s see what we can do with those guys, because that’s what we need right now.”

“Shelton is an amazing person and an amazing wrestler. MVP is amazing at everything he does. And I bring my part to the table too. We’ve got a great group, and we’re all friends. We pull for each other. If one of us is down, the other two pick him up.”

AEW’s Bobby Lashley Declares That He Is Not Hurt

As for his wrestling future, Bobby Lashley made it clear that he’s ready to go, so AEW fans could be seeing the Almighty back in the ring soon.

“Right now, they’re pulling me up. They’re yanking me back in and saying, ‘It’s time. We’re ready to get back out there and win some titles.’ I’m healed.

Everybody thought I was hurt — I’m not hurt. You can’t hurt the Almighty. Ready to go.”

It has been reported that Lashley signed a two-year deal with AEW when he joined in late 2024, but due to his injury, the contract will likely be extended.
