The WWE creative team, led by the company’s CCO, Triple H, didn’t know what to do with the recently released stars, according to a veteran. The stars in question are the Wyatt Sicks.

WWE recently released a long list of stars from the NXT and main roster. Some shocking names like Aleister Black, Kairi Sane, Motor City Machine Guns, and more were let go. Fans were also shocked by the news of every Wyatt Sicks member being let go. Wyatt Sicks consisted of stars such as Uncle Howdy (Bo Dallas), Dexter Lumis, Rowan, Nikki Cross, and Joe Gacy. The group had made their debut in June 2024 as a tribute to the late great Bray Wyatt.

Following their shocking release from the WWE, fans on the internet are expressing their disappointment over how Wyatt Sicks were handled by the creative. The veteran and current TNA star, Matt Hardy also shed light on the same.

Triple H-led WWE creative was apparently clueless about Wyatt Sicks

Speaking on his Extreme Life podcast, Matt Hardy recalled how the Wyatt Sicks honored late Bray Wyatt with their debut nearly two years ago, but creative, headed by Triple H didn’t know what to do with them after a point:

I felt like more than anything, he was honored on their debut. I felt like that was very much a love letter to Bray Wyatt. And I guess the fact that they ended up finding some success in winning the tag titles so they could be deemed as a successful act at that time, that was something that was beneficial to them. But when it was all said and done, it just really fizzled out. It’s just like the creative just didn’t know what to do with them.”

Hardy also criticized the Triple H-led creative for not putting time and thought into the Wyatt Sicks:

They didn’t know how to take them in a new direction or a different direction, or what to do with them. I mean, that’s how it felt from the outside looking obviously I don’t know, but those things can be tricky. I mean, I feel like if you have an act like that, you have to put a lot of time and thought into it, and maybe it’s too much time and too much thought for the people that are doing creative. Maybe they are overwhelmed and they don’t have the time to do that,” said Matt. [h/t WrestlingNews.co]

Only time will tell what’s next for Wyatt Sicks members following WWE release.
