Triple H Expected To Leave WWE In 2026

The WWE Hall Of Famer Who Says

Paul “Triple H” Levesque has been the cornerstone of WWE for a few years now.

Levesque took over the creative reins of the promotion by accepting the role of Chief Content Officer in September 2022.

His earlier backstage accomplishment also includes serving as the founder and executive producer of the company’s developmental brand, NXT, since 2012. At the time, he even held the position of an authority figure on the main roster with his wife, Stephanie McMahon.

His transition into CCO and taking over the content department had been widely praised due to riveting storylines and great matches overall.

While the good run lasted for a couple of years, the same could not be said about 2025, which witnessed a few hits and several misses.

On Saturday, WWE’s first PLE of the year, the Royal Rumble, took place under Triple H’s supervision. While the event had its ups and downs, one person seemingly feels let down, as they predict 2026 to be the 56-year-old’s final year in WWE.

Vince Russo Predicts Triple H’s Departure From WWE

Former WWE creative head writer Vince Russo has been a vocal critic of Triple H. At one point, he even labeled Levesque ‘the worst booker.’

Following the 2026 Royal Rumble, Russo has again criticized the WWE boss, predicting his departure by the end of the year.

The 65-year-old took to X to send out a tweet, where he shared a promotional picture similar to WrestleMania 42, only instead of other wrestlers, it is different iterations of Levesque from over the years sitting at the table.
