Rusev Warns Top WWE Star Ahead Of RAW: “He’s P*ssed Off”

Former United States Champion Rusev sent out a message to a current champion in WWE just ahead of their showdown on this week’s RAW. The message is for the current Intercontinental Champion, Penta.

Rusev made his return to the WWE last year after a few years of ups and downs during his AEW run as ‘Miro.’ However, The Bulgarian Brute has yet to do something big since his return aside from a great feud with Sheamus months ago. At WrestleMania 42, the former US Champion competed in the ladder match for the Intercontinental Championship, but failed to capture the title.

Penta successfully retained his I.C title by winning the ladder match at ‘Mania. Penta has held the title since winning it from Dominik Mysterio at the start of last month and has managed to be a fighting champion. Meanwhile, the veteran luchador is slated to square off against Rusev this week on RAW.

Rusev has a message for the Intercontinental Champion ahead of WWE RAW

Rusev recently shared a video on the X social media platform, warning Penta ahead of the upcoming edition of Monday Night RAW. The Bulgarian Brute has his sights on the IC title:

It’s a happy day at the Rusev household. Just got the word that tomorrow night, Monday Night Raw, Penta vs Rusev is happening. Finally, finally, finally I’m gonna get my hands one-on-one on Penta. No other five fools trying to jump around from ladders, trying to get between me and my title.

Rusev also said that he is p*ssed off and wants to win the championship for his fans:

And I know, I know, I’m not taking Penta lightly. I know about all his fancy tricks, but Rusev is big, Rusev is strong, and Rusev is mean, and he’s p*ssed off. I’m not fighting for another house, for another car, I’m fighting for the thing that matters the most to me, and that is the WWE Intercontinental Title, because I want to go home as a champion.

I want to represent my people, my fans, as a champion. They expect it from me, and I am going to deliver it for them. So tomorrow night… Rusev crush.” [H/T WrestleTalk]

It will be interesting to see if Rusev manages to get the win over the Intercontinental Champion on this week’s RAW.
