Pat McAfee continues to be a menace hours after his actions on WWE SmackDown.

The sports analyst allied himself with Randy Orton, revealing himself as the latter’s mystery caller on Friday.

McAfee relinquished his commentating duties several months ago. During an Instagram Q&A a month ago, he claimed that the wrestling business had passed him by. He also stated that the business would be in a good place despite his not being around.

On April 3, both Orton and Cody Rhodes were engaged in fisticuffs when Pat McAfee spontaneously jumped into the ring. He then hit Rhodes with a low blow.

While McAfee spoke on the mic, Orton continued to attack the Undisputed WWE Champion.

Since turning heel on March 13, Orton has made his intention clear about becoming the World Champion for a 15th time. In doing so, he abandoned his fans and even attacked Matt Cardona, who is Rhodes’ close friend.

McAfee, on the other hand, called out the current state of the company and compared it to the Attitude Era times. He also pointed out how the promotion struggled to sell WrestleMania tickets despite Randy Orton being in the main event.

He basically stated that Orton was there to save the business, whereas Rhodes had failed in his duties as one of the faces of the company.

Pat McAfee Takes Jibe At Cody Rhodes And Wrestling Fans

On April 4, Pat McAfee shared a video on X, referring to wrestling fans as “marks.”

Calling fans gullible for believing in Cody Rhodes, he asks if they had thanked Randy Orton yet for what he is going to do at WrestleMania, which is saving the business.

Good morning, wrestling fans. Have you thanked Randy Orton for what he’s gonna do at WrestleMania? You should, okay? ‘Saving the business.’ Cody Rhodes, had a tough one last night.
